Study Finds Adam Sandler's Height Impacting Viewers' Ratings of His Movies A study conducted by the New York Film Academy has found that viewers' ratings of Adam Sandler's movies are being impacted by their perception of the actor's height. The findings revealed a strong correlation between height and viewer rating, as those who were familiar with Sandler's height giving higher ratings than those who weren't. The study surveyed 1,000 people and asked them to rate some of the actor's most popular movies - Billy Madison, The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy, Big Daddy, and Happy Gilmore. Surprisingly, results showed that the average rating of those who were familiar with Adam Sandler's height was 8.25 out of 10, while those who were unaware came in at 6.7 out of 10. In a statement, the New York Film Academy noted that viewers' opinions of Sandler's work seem to be affected by his taller stature. "This is a fascinating discovery that may further explain why some people consider Adam Sandler to be a great actor, while others don't," the statement said. The study found that the top five flicks to be most recommended by viewers were Billy Madison, The Wedding Singer, The Waterboy, Big Daddy, and Happy Gilmore. While these films also had high ratings from viewers who weren't familiar with Adam Sandler's height, the heightened ratings from those who knew the exact height could be attributed to the actor's stature. Overall, the findings from this study suggest that viewers' ratings of Adam Sandler's movies are being influenced by their perception of the actor's height. As such, the New York Film Academy recommends viewers become familiar with Adam Sandler's height in order to more accurately rate his films. |
